Our Return & Refund Policy

This policy is provided in addition to your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in this policy removes or limits your statutory rights.
Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to purchases made directly from wrexhambean.com.
Wholesale or business orders may be subject to separate terms.
Statutory rights
If an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to remedies under UK law. Depending on circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
Change-of-mind returns
For eligible non-perishable items, you may have a statutory cancellation period under distance selling rules.
To cancel, you must notify us within the legal cancellation window.
Coffee and other excluded goods
Fresh roasted coffee is a perishable food product.
For food safety, freshness, and shelf-life reasons, we do not accept returns of coffee for:
- change of mind
- personal taste preference
- incorrect brew setup at home
This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or supplied in error.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at hello@wrexhambean.com as soon as possible with:
- your order number
- a description of the issue
- clear photos of the product and outer packaging
- shipping label photos where relevant
Where the claim is validated, we will provide an appropriate remedy (replacement, refund, or other legal remedy).
Return shipping costs
Customer pays return shipping unless:
- the item is faulty, or
- we sent the wrong item / made an order error.
If the return is due to our fault or a verified defect, we will cover reasonable return postage costs or provide an alternative return method.
Return authorisation required
Do not send items back without contacting us first.
Returns without pre-authorisation (RMA) may be refused and may not be processed.
Condition of returned non-perishable goods
For eligible non-perishable returns, items must be:
- unused
- in original condition
- in original packaging with all parts and accessories
Used items may be rejected for hygiene or resale reasons unless they are faulty.
Tracking and risk in transit
We strongly recommend tracked return shipping.
If you choose an untracked method, we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refund timing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 10-14 working days.
Your bank or card provider may take additional time to complete processing.
Outbound shipping charges
Where a refund is made for a non-defective, non-error return accepted by us, original shipping paid at checkout is non-refundable unless required by law.
International orders (USA and Canada)
Due to international transit and food-safety practicalities, we do not accept change-of-mind returns for orders shipped to the USA or Canada.
We do support claims for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
For international defect/error claims, photographic evidence and shipping label details are required before a remedy is approved.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled in your account portal before the next processing date.
If an order has already been roasted/packed/dispatched, that order cannot be cancelled or refunded unless faulty or supplied in error.
Excessive or fraudulent claims
We reserve the right to refuse returns, refunds, or future service where return/refund behaviour is excessive, abusive, or fraudulent, subject to your legal rights.
Delivery delays outside our control
We are not liable for carrier or customs delays outside our reasonable control, including postal disruption, customs clearance delays, weather, and industrial action.
Governing law
This policy and all sales are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
