Our Decaf is a Washed Processed Coffee
Sugar cane decaffeination removes most caffeine using a naturally derived solvent, then the beans are rinsed and dried carefully to preserve cup quality. The aim is to reduce caffeine without stripping out the flavour compounds that make the coffee taste like itself.
When this process is handled well, the profile stays sweet, clean and recognisably Colombian. You still get structure, body and a proper coffee finish, rather than a flat or hollow cup.
That’s exactly why decaf is a good evening option. You can keep the ritual and flavour of coffee later in the day with much less risk of caffeine disrupting sleep. For a deeper breakdown, read our post on how much caffeine is in decaf.
