Natural processing means the coffee dries with the fruit still on the seed, so more fruit sugars and compounds are absorbed before milling. That usually brings more sweetness, a rounder body, and a softer, more textured cup compared with a fully washed profile.

On this lot, that process deepens the chocolate-led base and layers in a clear dried-fruit note. The result is a fuller, richer cup with a syrupier mouthfeel and a longer, sweeter finish

A little darker than I'd usually go for when having just black / espresso but perfect if you want something with depth and body - especially for oat flat whites it's stunning

Disappointed. . . i drink this all the time when I go to Lot 11, which is why I purchased it. It tastes grainy, and certainly not the same when I make it at home. I'm using a reusable pod in my coffee machine. The pod is about half full, tamped down and sealed before it goes into the machine. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Jackie, Im sorry to hear that you’re having difficulty with your reusable pod.

We don’t use reusable pods here at the roastery so I can’t comment on their operation. I have done some research for you and found that you need a medium grind coffee, espresso may be too fine.
Our espresso grind is designed for espresso/coffee machines - again I can’t comment on the pods.
The coffee you ordered is the same bean Lot 11 use and so the coffee is no different, I just feel that the brewing method/technique is effecting your drink. Any issues drop me an email at hello@wrexhambean.com

Only just started so enjoying it, but would like some recommdations as to nice coffee,s but this Brazilian is really nice.

Turned into a bit of a coffee snob since getting my own espresso machine and Wrexham bean is my new standard! Tried loads of local beans and a few that are great tasting but these ones beat them all! Unbelievable taste and the crema on top of my espresso looks so good
