History of coffee in Brazil

Brazil's rich coffee heritage traces back to the 18th century when intrepid explorers brought coffee seeds from French Guiana. What began as a botanical experiment flourished into an agricultural giant. Ideal growing conditions in Brazil's vast territories transformed the country into the world's leading coffee exporter by the 19th century. From humble beginnings, Brazilian coffee cultivation has evolved into a sophisticated industry, producing the flavourful, aromatic beans prized by coffee lovers worldwide.
