5 Iced Latte Recipes You Can Actually Make

5 Iced Latte Recipes You Can Actually Make at Home

Iced lattes are simple. You don’t need a £2k machine or a foam wand that sounds like a jet engine. All you need is good coffee, some ice, milk (or oat), and a bit of flavour if you fancy. Whether you're into sweet, floral, or classic - here's how to do it right. These five recipes cover all the bases, no nonsense.

Espresso meets ice-cold milk - the classic iced latte, just clean flavour and clarity.

1. Classic Iced Latte

You’ll need:

  • Double shot of espresso (use Burundi Red Bourbon or any medium roast)
  • Ice
  • Cold milk (whole, oat, almond - your call)

Method:

  1. Fill a glass with ice.
  2. Pour your espresso straight over.
  3. Top up with cold milk. Stir and sip.

☕ Brewing Tip

Brew your espresso double-strength if you're using a Moka pot or AeroPress. Cold milk and ice will water things down.

You’ll need:

  • Double shot of espresso (Burundi works again)
  • 1-2 tsp vanilla syrup (shop-bought or homemade)
  • Ice
  • Cold milk (we like oat for this)

Method:

  1. Mix your vanilla syrup with espresso.
  2. Pour over ice in a tall glass.
  3. Add milk to taste. Stir. Done.

  • Ice
  • Oat milk (trust us)

Method:

  1. Mix the brown sugar with hot espresso until dissolved. Add cinnamon if using.

4. Iced Honey Lavender Latte

You’ll need:

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup water + 1 lavender tea bag
  • Ice
  • Oat or almond milk

Method:

  1. Steep the lavender tea in hot water for 5 minutes. Mix it with honey.
  2. Combine with espresso and pour over ice.
  3. Top with milk. Stir. Sip. Feel fancy.

☕ Brewing Tip

Lavender works best with fruity naturals - keep it light, or it’ll taste like soap. African Moon hits just right.
