Every Wrexham Bean Co. bag features a unique print of a local Wrexham landmark to celebrate our city’s history and culture. For our Fronteira coffee blend, we chose one of Wrexham’s most iconic locations, Erddig Hall and Garden.
What is Erddig Hall?
Whether you’re a local or just visiting Wrexham, chances are you’ve heard of Erddig Hall. Maybe you’ve walked around the gardens, explored the historic house itself, or grabbed a coffee in the café.
We're sure you'll agree that Erddig isn’t just a grand old building, it’s a piece of North Wales heritage. It's a beautifully preserved 18th-century country house tucked just outside Wrexham.
What makes it truly special isn’t just the architecture or the manicured lawns (though they’re easy on the eye). It’s the stories and generations of the Yorke family who lived there, and, just as importantly, the staff who kept the estate running behind the scenes.

Why did we choose Erddig Hall for our Fronteira coffee bag artwork?
We could’ve picked any number of Wrexham landmarks for Fronteira, but Erddig felt right. It’s iconic, local, and full of character. It’s a reminder that great coffee doesn’t just come from hip city cafes. It comes from places full of history, identity, and graft.
The custom print on our Fronteira coffee bag captures the Hall’s grand façade and lush gardens. The peach and violet colour palette showcases the beauty of the building on a North Wales summer’s day, whilst capturing the warmth of our Fronteira flavours - toasted nut, caramel, chocolate and red berries.

What other local artwork do we print on Wrexham Bean coffee bags?
We print a range of Wrexham artwork on our coffee bags. These include:
- African Moon - Wrexham AFC Racecourse Ground
- Brazilian Eagle - Wrexham High Street in the 1960s
- Calon - Tribute to Gresford Colliery Disaster
- Mount Elgon - Wrexham and East Denbighshire War Memorial Hospital
